Privacy policy
Last updated October 26, 2026. Plain language, because this is about families.
The short version
This site is for grown-ups: parents, grandparents, coaches, teachers and organizations. We collect what you send us so we can design a game and write back. We do not sell it, we do not use advertising trackers, and kids never need to give us anything.
Who we are
Paper Kid Games is a studio of Miles Media, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Questions about this policy go to hello@milesonmedia.com or (412) 212-8640.
What we collect
- From the contact form: your name, email, phone if you give it, your role, the package you are interested in and your message.
- From the Player Builder: your first name, email, phone if you give it and your role, plus your answers: the nickname you chose for the player, the look you designed, the sport, an age range, what the game should teach and which personal touches you picked.
- Technical details: the page you sent it from, your IP address and your browser type, kept with your message to stop spam and repeated submissions.
Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending them. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers that check.
How we use it
To reply to you, to put together your game plan and quote, and to build your game if you go ahead. We may send you an email about your project. We will not add you to a newsletter without asking.
Children's privacy
We follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). This site is meant for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Player Builder asks a grown-up for a nickname to put on the player card, and we ask you not to enter a child's full name, school or address. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
In the games themselves, kids are drawn, never photographed. Kids never make an account or type in an email.
Photos you send us
If you send photos so we can draw your kid, we use them only as a drawing reference. They never appear in a game or on this site, we don't share them, and we delete them when your game is delivered, or sooner if you ask.
Schools and student information
Our games don't collect student education records, and students never sign in. If a school or league shares a roster with us for a custom game, such as first names for the team, we use it only to build that game and delete it at the end of the project.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Messages are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and in our email. We keep them while we are talking with you or working on your game, and for up to two years after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except the service providers that run the site and our email, and only so they can do that job. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics to count visits, we will say so on this page.
The games on this site
The games you can play here, under /play/, use no analytics or advertising and don't collect personal information. Settings and best scores are saved only on your own device. The same games also run on ziggy.games, a separate site with its own privacy policy at ziggy.games/privacy.
Your choices
Email us to see what we have from you, to correct it or to delete it. We will do it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
